While being a small firm, as we continue to expand, we will work diligently to integrate inclusion into how we recruit personnel, collaborate with our community, and serve clients. We believe our presence in Atlanta, Georgia, a vibrant and diverse city, uniquely positions us to attract and retain a diverse team.
Our goal is to maintain and grow a respectful, inclusive, engaged, and family-oriented culture that values varied backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We also plan to increase the number of diverse legal practitioners through outreach, training, and mentoring. Each team member at Perilla Knox & Hildebrandt is an important and valued contributor. Our recent diversity & inclusion efforts include:
Training and mentoring new engineers and attorneys with diverse backgrounds to become patent agents and attorneys as part of the Patent Pipeline Program with the National Council on Patent Practicum.
Performing pro bono legal work for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, assisting underrepresented entrepreneurs in protecting intellectual property necessary to succeed as a business.
Sponsoring construction of a children’s home in a community in rural Thailand.
Fostering inclusive collaboration among attorneys and agents, even among many different law firms, in professional and community organizations.
