Thomas Hildebrandt has personally drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications for a wide variety of technologies, including networking and wireless communication, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, mobile applications, electronic commerce, information security, blockchain, order fulfillment systems, electrical circuitry, video coding technologies, medical devices, robotics, among many others. Thomas has represented several Fortune 500 companies. In addition to U.S. applications, Thomas often coordinates international patent protection and is a registered patent agent in Canada. Thomas also has experience in trademark filing and prosecution, copyright protection, and general intellectual property counseling.

Prior to joining the firm, Thomas operated a consulting business that developed e-commerce web sites and has extensive programming experience. Thomas graduated from Georgia Tech with highest honors. Thomas's graduate research focused on networking and telecommunications, including novel methods of monitoring Internet conditions and implementing robust, low-latency audio transmission over IP networks. While at Georgia Tech, Thomas served as Chief Engineer of WREK Radio and developed a broadcast automation scheduling system in software. Thomas also served as a teaching assistant for Georgia Tech's introductory computer science course for nine semesters. Thomas graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia Law School and served as an Articles Editor for the Georgia Law Review.
