Steph Davy-Jow works closely with both university and corporate clients, bringing a unique perspective as both a scientific advisor and a former academic.
Steph's research background spans several fields, including forensic anthropology, 3D modeling, medical imaging, and forensic sciences. Before becoming a patent agent, Steph was a senior lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University, where she managed the Forensic Anthropology degree program. She has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles and collaborated on a wide range of projects involving in vivo imaging for use in forensic anthropology/pathology as well as case work for law enforcement and museums.
She also coordinated a European-wide research network of academics, collaborating on human biometric identification. Her postdoctoral positions included research in radiology at the University of South Florida and hominoid bipedal energetics at the University of Sheffield. She was admitted to the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, the Royal Anthropological Institute, British Association of Human Identification, the British Association of Forensic Anthropology, was a professional member of the Forensic Science Society, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Steph is currently pursuing her JD at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, with an expected graduation date of 2027.
